Yup, we’ve expanded and we are offering baby gifts along with our extensive line of piggy banks. We found this to be a natural extention and have added many Mud Pie newborn and child items and Gund brand stuffed animals.

We chose Gund for their incredible standard of quality. Each stuffed animal or toy from Gund is not only really soft and cuddly, it’s built to take all the abuse a kid wants to give his or her favorite buddy! We’ll be adding more Gund creations soon. After finding our prior host (Yahoo Stores) more than a little unresponsive to our needs and rather expensive, we took on a project to move over to eCartStore.com. Wow what a difference! We have more functionality which means we can serve you better and it costs less. We couldn’t be happier. While we have kept much of the look and feel of our original store, there are a few changes. We give our prayers to those struggling down South with the aftermath of Katrina. At Piggy Bank Shop, we are suffering a minor hit with our piggy bank kits and paints. Unfortunately or supplier of special paints to use on our kits is (or was) located in New Orleans. We had several items backordered with them and, no surprise, have not been able to reach the office since the hurricane hit.

We are temporarily suspending the sales of our piggybank kits and paints. We will continue to offer our unfinished piggy banks as they come from a different source. We’ll keep you updated as to when we can resume the sales of these popular items.
